Opera House: For Music lovers: The Vienna State Opera is considered one of the most important opera houses in the world; in particular, it is the house with the largest repertoire. The Viennese Opera House is without a doubt one of the leading opera houses of the world and has been through a lot during its “life”. Certainly, lots of the big opera stars have played here.. Opera House was rebuilt with many additions and reopened to “Fidelio”. The new auditorium accommodates 2,200 seats and standing places. The Schwind Foyer, the Gobelin Hall and the Marble Hall among other things make the Opera House very unique.
Local Streets:
Greek merchants settled around Fleischmarkt from about 1700, which gradually became known as the Griechenviertel (Greek quarter). Today it has some beautiful art nouveau buildings, such as No 14, built by F Dehm and F Olbricht.
The Hundertwasserhaus is an apartment house in Vienna, Austria, built after the idea and concept of Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser with architect Joseph Krawina.This is an expressionistic landmark of Vienna and a must-visit place.
Schönbrunn Palace is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE and Austria’s most visited tourist desirability. For centuries the palace aided as the summer home of the Habsburgs, and to this day reflects the benefits and perceptions of the Habsburg monarchs. Schönbrunn is considered to be one of Europe’s most impressive Baroque palace and Austria’s most momentous cultural monument.
