In this video, I’ll show how to turn an ordinary frame pool into a full-fledged stationary plunge pool with bottom insulation, bowl protection, and automation — all with your own hands. Without expensive solutions, but with intelligence and attention to every detail.
Step by step, I’ll go through the entire process: from marking and digging the pit to installing the filter, piping, bowl protection, connecting to a smart relay, laying black soil, and restoring the lawn. You’ll see not just a pretty picture, but real construction with challenges, life hacks, and a result to be proud of.

???? The pool is connected via a smart relay, so you can control the pump from anywhere in the world. I also plan to add a smart temperature, pH, and chlorine sensor that will be integrated into the Tuya Smart or Home Assistant smart home system. I also showed a regular pool water quality test kit that allows you to quickly assess the water condition and take disinfection measures.
????‍♂️ Thanks to the insulated bottom and walls, the water hardly cools down even at night. The bowl doesn’t sag, the bottom is perfectly level, the legs are firmly seated, filtration is stable. Although it's a regular frame pool, it feels like a stationary one.
