Model Launch: The Leopard 8, codenamed Fangchengbao Bao 8, is the second full-size SUV under BYD's Fangchengbao (Formula Leopard) line—following the Leopard 5. It premiered at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show and officially hit the Chinese market in November 2024.

Design Philosophy: Embracing "Future Starship Aesthetics," its squared-off silhouette, starship-inspired headlights, and propeller-like taillight clusters give it a futuristic and commanding presence.
