Years ago we started to pre attach rim because LSL is heavy at 20' long and it was easier not to deal with it walking walls.

Pretty simple, just cut some blocks that are the wall thickness less the rim so you can lay the rim in place. Then lay out for joists, flip the rim and nail 6" oc according the International Residential code. Dude Tools Formbuster to bring it up flush. The nail gun is a high pressure framing gun from @MAX USA CORP. Tools HN90F framing nailer for those unfamiliar with those guns. Its part of the 500 psi system and we run it at 280-300 psi
