Quick drywall tip from the field:

When strap tie-downs run over your bottom plate, they can push your drywall out just enough to mess with your baseboards later.

You won’t notice it now — but after finish, trim, and caulk… it’s too late.

Before we hang, I run my hand low across the wall. If it kicks out, it gets fixed now — not after paint.
