Why This Needs Real Control

Ever wonder how plaster really gets on a wall? It’s not some slow, careful art. It starts with speed and muscle. Watch this guy. He throws several heavy loads of wet plaster onto the wall, starting low and working up. It looks messy—and it is—but that’s part of the process.

Once there’s enough plaster stuck on, he quickly uses his trowel with a few short, controlled moves to roughly spread and even out the surface. No fancy long strokes. Just enough to make the thickness more even.

Then comes the real leveling tool—a long flat wooden screed. With that, he makes long passes across the wall to flatten everything properly.

This is how real plastering looks on-site. Messy start, fast hands, and a good eye for leveling.
This isn’t beginner stuff. It’s muscle memory from years on the job.

If I handed you that trowel… would you give it a shot or nope out?
